Locos el Asado: Toda la Carne Al Asador!

Fue hace algunos años. Kevin Chochlac -más conocido como el Croata- volvió de la facultad con una obsesión en su cabeza emprendedora: crear una comunidad online, mundial, abierta y divertida en la que todos pudieran encontrar su espacio de pertenencia. Mientras se abría el marote evaluando ideas, le llegó un mensaje del Laucha, Luciano Luchetti: “Muchachos, ya es jueves, no voy a volver a hacer yo solo todas las compras para el asadito de mañana, eh. ¿Quién me acompaña?”. El Croata, el Laucha y otros veinte amigos compartían el mismo ritual desde hacía ya cinco años: asado en el quincho todos los viernes. Una práctica que los mantuvo unidos después del secundario y más allá de la facultad y las nuevas responsabilidades de cada uno. “Che, Lauchón -aprovechó Kevin a decirle-, tengo ganas de empezar una comunidad de asado; es algo que va a unir al mundo. Es la comida más rica que existe y además genera algo mágico. ¿Vos te copás?”. No hizo falta mucho más. El Laucha tenía un laburo que no lo terminaba de convencer; sus días más dichosos eran aquellos viernes entre el fuego y los amigos… un mundo perfecto. Y así empezó todo: del encuentro entre estos dos adolescentes tan distintos -uno con la cabeza en las redes, el otro en los negocios-, pero unidos en su fanatismo por el asado. De todos aquellos fuegos encendidos entre amigos, nació la que hoy es la comunidad más grande y hermosa del mundo: la de Locos x el Asado. Hoy Locos junta a más de 15 millones de personas por mes, y aunque más de uno no haga asado.

Who’s with me?” . The Croatian, the Laucha, and twenty other friends had shared the same ritual for five years now: barbecued on the barbecue every Friday. A practice that kept them together after high school and beyond the faculty and new responsibilities of each. “Che, Lauchón,” Kevin took the opportunity to tell him, “I want to start a barbecue community; it is something that will unite the world. Laucha had a job that did not quite convince him; the happiest days of him were those Fridays between fire and friends … a perfect world. And that’s how it all began: the meeting between these two very different teenagers -one with his head in the networks, the other in business-, but united in their fanaticism for the barbecue. Of all those fires lit between friends, what today is the largest and most beautiful community in the world was born: that of Locos x el Asado. Today Locos brings together more than 15 million people per month, and even if more than one does not grill.
